Terms of Service
The short version. Jarvis helps you plan travel and keeps track of the paperwork. It does not book anything, and it is not an immigration adviser. Prices, opening hours and entry rules change constantly. Check anything that matters before you rely on it. You are responsible for your own visas, documents and bookings.
1. Who you are contracting with
Jarvis is provided by Aviv Salton, a sole trader (עוסק פטור) established in Israel ("Jarvis", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. What Jarvis is
Jarvis is a travel planning assistant. It suggests places, builds day-by-day itineraries, checks entry and visa requirements against the passport you tell it you hold, and files your booking confirmations and documents in one place.
Jarvis is an information and organisation tool. It is not a travel agency, not a tour operator, not an insurance broker and not an immigration adviser.
3. Jarvis does not book anything
Jarvis finds options and compares them. When you choose one, you complete the booking yourself, directly with the airline, hotel, or other provider. That booking is a contract between you and them, on their terms, and Jarvis is not a party to it.
It follows that Jarvis is not responsible for cancellations, schedule changes, overbookings, refunds, service quality, or anything else arising from a booking you make. Prices and availability shown in the app come from third-party sources, can be out of date by the time you act on them, and are never a guarantee of what you will actually be offered.
4. Entry requirements, visas and other paperwork
Entry rules change without notice and depend on facts Jarvis cannot fully verify: your exact nationality and passport, dual citizenship, your travel history, the purpose of your trip, and decisions made by border officials on the day.
Visa and entry information in Jarvis is provided for guidance only and is not legal or immigration advice. It may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong for your particular circumstances.
You remain solely responsible for holding the correct visas, permits, passport validity, vaccinations, insurance and onward-travel evidence for every country you enter or transit. Always confirm requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate or official government source before you book and again before you travel. Jarvis is not liable for denied boarding, refused entry, missed travel, fines or any other loss arising from reliance on information in the app.
5. AI-generated content
Parts of Jarvis are produced by AI models. They can be confidently wrong: an itinerary may include a place that has closed, an opening time may be stale, a summary of a rule may be imprecise. Jarvis shows where information came from and when it was checked wherever it can. Verify anything that a trip depends on.
6. Your account
You must be at least 16 to use Jarvis, and you must give an email address you actually control. Sign-in works by one-time code sent to that address, or through Apple or Google, which means whoever controls your mailbox can access your account. Keep it secure, and tell us at support@gowithjarvis.com if you believe someone else has got in.
One account is for one person. Do not share it.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Jarvis to break the law, to plan travel that breaches sanctions or entry restrictions, to scrape or resell its content, to reverse-engineer or overload the service, to submit other people's personal data without a lawful basis, or to attempt to reach accounts or systems that are not yours.
8. Connected mailboxes
If you connect a mailbox, you confirm you are entitled to grant that access. Jarvis looks only for travel confirmations, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time from Settings.
9. Price
Jarvis is currently free while in beta. Paid plans may be introduced later; if that happens, you will be told clearly in advance and nothing will start charging without your explicit agreement. Third-party costs (flights, hotels, visa fees, insurance) are always yours and are never paid through Jarvis.
10. Your content
Your trips, messages and documents remain yours. You grant Jarvis the licence it needs to store and process them in order to run the service for you, nothing more. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
11. Our content
The Jarvis name, logo, app, website and design are owned by Aviv Salton and protected by intellectual property law. You may use the service as intended; you may not copy, redistribute or build a competing product from it.
12. Availability
Jarvis is provided "as is" and "as available". It is a beta service run by one person, and it depends on third-party APIs that can change, rate-limit or fail. There is no uptime guarantee, and features may change or be withdrawn.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jarvis is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, nor for lost profits, lost bookings, missed travel or wasted expenditure arising from your use of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Jarvis in the twelve months before the claim, or ILS 200.
Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited, including your rights as a consumer under Israel's Consumer Protection Law, 5741–1981.
14. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings → About & Legal → Delete account, which removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that is being used to harm the service or other users.
15. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the service develops. The date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Jarvis after that means you accept the revised terms.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of Tel Aviv–Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory protections available to you as a consumer where you live.
